Susan G. Komen for the Cure
A cure for breast cancer. Now that would be sweet.
Georgetown Cupcake is proud to be an official sponsor of the 2012 Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure®. In addition to sponsoring our Team Georgetown Cupcake at the June 2 Race on the National Mall, Georgetown Cupcake will donate 100% of the purchase price of its special Pink Ribbon Cupcake to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. These “Pink Ribbon” Cupcakes will be available by pre-order, walk-in purchase, and via national shipping through October 31, 2012. Hope for Henry
Georgetown Cupcake is dedicated to bringing happiness into the lives of children everywhere, especially those children facing extreme hardships. Through our support of the Hope for Henry Foundation, Georgetown Cupcake partners with area hospitals and medical clinics to benefit children suffering from life-threatening illnesses as well as their families. Heroes Against Childhood Cancer
Georgetown Cupcake is proud to partner with Heroes Against Childhood Cancer, a volunteer-driven organization, that supports children fighting cancer and the Cancer Programs at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Heroes Against Childhood Cancer hosts a variety of community events from 5K races to group head shaves where everyone from a child with a piggy bank to local police and firefighters to Ambassadors can participate and donate. Georgetown Cupcake is proud to support members of the United States military and their families. Since 2010, through “Operation Cupcake,” Georgetown Cupcake partners with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to send cupcakes to our troops serving overseas during the holiday season. Each year, Georgetown Cupcake delivered 10,000 cupcakes to troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as those recovering from injuries in Germany.
